Il Selvaggio Blu – The Wild Blue is considered one of the most difficult trekking in Italy.

The itinerary spans most of the Gulf of Orosei: from Santa Maria Navarrese to Cala Gonone. A long and challenging journey immersed in the thick Mediterranean scrub. The tall, white limestone cliffs that dive into the turquoise and crystalline sea of the eastern coast, the beaches of the unspoiled and deserted coves, covered by tiny pebbles of a thousand different colors. All this will give us moments of intense adventure and lasting emotions, with stunning views over extraordinary landscapes.

Bivouacs by the sea under a star filled sky, swim in the crystal clear waters, the hospitality of the Sardinian people, custodians of ancient ancestral traditions and the delicacy of simple but genuine Sardinian cuisine will imprint the visitor’s soul with an indelible memory of this ancient island in the middle of the Mediterranean.

Highlights of the trip:

•  A pristine natural environment
• The diversity of Mediterranean vegetation
• The Gennargentu Park
• Typical dishes of simple and genuine Sardinian cuisine

Paolo Mulas, Environmental and Excursion Guide

My luck has been to transform my lifelong passion into a profession! For over two decades I have accompanied groups of people through the mountains of the twin islands and at the end of a trip, I take home with me the emotions that I experienced on my first exploratory trek. The natural environment, people, different cultures and diversity in general, fascinate me and I’m irresistibly attracted to them. I elaborate all our Explora 360° trips and adventures looking at them from the customers point of view, so everything down to the smallest details is always carefully planned and thought out.
